Ever wonder how to finish your hooked coasters or pillows or just want a refresher or someone to hold your hand through the process? Come on out to this class.

*THIS IS A “BRING-YOUR-OWN-UNFINISHED-PROJECT” CLASS!*

In other words, you must bring your unfinished mats/coasters/pillows to class. Beth can provide the finishing materials, but the base project must be hooked prior to class and brought along.

Beth will help you through one or more of the following techniques (depending on how many projects you bring):

FOR ALL PROJECTS – Correct steaming, blocking, and serging in preparation for finishing

MATS/RUGS – yarn or wool strip whip stitching, twill tape binding, corded wool binding

COASTERS – no-sew water resistent wool bonding process, simple whip stitching

PILLOWS – solid wool back attachment including how to select the right sized insert, how to cut the backing, how to hand stitch the back on without having any linen showing at the end

This is going to be a fun workshop that hopefully will clear up any uncertainty you may have with finishing techniques.
